CROSSVILLE — Feb. 12, 1920—Dec. 19, 2012

Dallas Cox, 92, of Crossville, passed away Dec. 19, 2012, at his home. Funeral services were conducted Dec. 22 at the Mundy Funeral Home South Chapel in Clarkrange, with Bro. David Morgan officiating. Burial followed in the Campground Cemetery with military services conducted at grave side.

Mr. Cox was born Feb. 12, 1920.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Baldwin Cox, of Crossville; sons, Elmer Cox and Leonard Cox and wife, Pat, all of Crossville; daughters, Lynn Carey and husband, Kenny, of Crossville, and Shirley Edwards and husband, Luke, all of Crossville; sisters, Chloe Cox, Rose Helton and Betty Smith, all of Crossville, and Greta Whittenburg of Cincinnati, OH; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Mr. Cox was preceded in death by his parents, William and Rhoda Street Cox; son, Allen Cox; brothers, Royce, Raymond, Vernon and Theron Cox; and sisters, Rita Cox and Lorene Henline.

The Mundy Funeral Home South Chapel in Clarkrange was in charge of the arrangements.

Betty Louise (Yanda) Houston, 77, of the Burke Community, passed away May 21, 2013, at Cumberland House in Crossville. Funeral services were held at Bilbrey Funeral Home May 23, 2013, with Bro. Nick Ball officiating. Special music was by Renee Clayton. Interment was in Parham Cemetery.

The graveside service will be today, May 24, at 3 p.m. EDT at Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Gardens. The Rev. Ronnie Capes will perform the service. There will be no prior visitation.
