CROSSVILLE — July 6, 1920—Jan. 29, 2013

Ruby Marie Barnes, 92, of Crossville, passed away Jan. 29, 2013, at her home. The family received friends Thursday, Jan. 31, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Crossville Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral services will be today, Feb. 1, at 11 a.m. at St. Raphael's Episcopal Church at 1038 Sparta Hwy., with the Rev. Ann Markle officiating.

Ruby was born July 6, 1920, to Calvin and Pearl Shook Windsor in Iron River, MI. She enjoyed spending time with her family, being involved in homemakers club, senior center events and church, Red Cross and being around people.

Ruby is survived by her son, Terry Galan and wife, Patti; daughters, Julie Ryden and husband, Alan, Susie Bradley and husband, Tom, and Andrea McGill and husband, Michael; six grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Eddie Barnes; four brothers; and one grandchild.

Crossville Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. was in charge of the arrangements.
