CROSSVILLE —
Willie Arthur “Bill” Neely, 92, of Crossville, passed away April 30, 2012, at Cumberland Medical Center in Crossville. Funeral services will be held today, May 4, at 10 a.m. at Bilbrey Funeral Home with Bro. Joey Campbell officiating. Interment will be in Green Acres Memory Gardens with full military honors provided by the Veterans Honor Guard.
He was born July 30, 1919, in Jackson, the son of the late Andrew and Virginia (Hall) Neely.
Mr. Neely was a farmer and a saw mill operator. He was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church. He served in the United States Army during World War II.
He is survived by his sons, Douglas Neely of Clarksville and Dean Neely of Crossville; daughters, Donna Loveday of Crossville, Pam Stoebart of Texas, Wilma Roberts of Maryland, and Mary Lee, Billie Robin Padgett and Tammy Lynn Neely, all of Crossville; brothers, Carl “Red” Neely and Buster Neely, of Crossville; and sister, Lucy Campbell of Crossville. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Sam Neely and John Neely, and sisters, Mae Brewer and Hattie Burgess.
Pallbearers are Adam Neely, Paul Neely, Brad Neely, Harold Bolin, Will Campbell Jr. and Sam Neely.

Visitation was held May 13 from 4 to 5:30 p.m. at North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, with a memorial service at 6 p.m. The Rev. Bill Harvey and the Rev. James Arland Anderson officiated. Burial will be private.
