Lavonda Danette (Parsons) Masiongale "Hootie," 53, of Crossville, passed away Friday, Nov. 16, 2012. Funeral services were held Nov. 20 with Bro. Josh Brown officiating. Interment was in Mayland Cemetery.
Mrs. Masiongale was born Nov. 13, 1959, in Cumberland County, the daughter of Porter Paul and Lou Ann (Brady) Parsons.
She was a certified nurse assistant and of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include her daughters, Shylah Gorra (Rocky) and Sherry Parsons of Crossville; son, Tyler Parsons of Crossville; father, Paul Parsons of Crossville; brothers, Jody Parsons of Crossville and Paul Ramone Parsons of Shelbyville; and grandchildren, Cayden, Gracie Jo, Bryson, Bryleigh and Jordan.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Lou Ann (Brady) Parsons; and sister, Sonja Parsons.
Pallbearers were Jody Parsons, Tyler Parsons, Paul R. Parsons, Rocky Gorra, Harian Walker and Jeremiah Faalafua.
Bilbrey Funeral Home, Inc. (www.bilbreyfh.com) was in charge of the arrangements.

The family received friends Tuesday, June 18, from 4 to 7 p.m. EDT at Evans Mortuary, with funeral service following at 7 p.m. President Charles Watkins officiated. Concluding and interment services will be today, June 18, at Roane Memorial Gardens at 10 a.m.
