Clifford Everett Roberts, 71, of Crossville, passed away Feb. 13, 2013. Funeral services were held Feb. 16 from the chapel of Hood Funeral Home. Pastor Daniel Barnes and Pastor Junior Masters officiated, with burial in Crossville City Cemetery.
He was born Jan. 26, 1942, in Spring City, the son of Venice and Nettie Cottrell Roberts. He was retired after many years with Ford Motor Company in Lorain, OH, and later retired from Related Construction as a painter and wood finisher. He was a U.S. Army veteran, having served during the Vietnam era and a member of the American Legion. He will be remembered as a great father and a loving, caring husband and provider. He and his wife, Etta, were members of the Alive in the Spirit South Church.
He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Etta Kilby Roberts of Crossville; daughters, Patricia Patterson of Myrtle Beach, SC, Dana Elliott and Joe of Lorain, OH, Diana Hreha and Jimmy, also of Lorain, and Lana Roberts and Marc of Wakeman, OH; sons, Cliff Roberts Jr. and Janet of Vemillion, OH, David Bohannon and Amy of Elyria, OH, and Billy Wade Vincent and Spring of Redman, OR; brothers, Ed Roberts and Angie of Elyria, max roberts and Brenda, also of Elyria, and Larry Roberts and Karen of Maryville, TN; eight grandsons; four granddaughters; two great-grandsons; three great-granddaughters; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant sister.
Pallbearers were Anthony Tursivio, Matthue Mair, Christopher Roberts, Kyle Hreha, Jerry Kilby and Marc Borne.
Hood Funeral Home and Crematory, LLC (www.hoodfuneralhome.com) was in charge of the arrangements.

Daniel Luke Gibbons (Cadillac), 58, of Crossville, passes away May 6, 2013, at Tennessee Veteran Hospital in Nashville. Funeral services were held at Bilbrey Funeral Home May 9, with Bro. Charles Presley officiating. Interment was in Algood City Cemetery, with full military honors provided by Veteran's Honor Guard.

Billy Vaughn Barnwell, 51, of Crab Orchard, TN passed away on May 10, 2013 at Cumberland Medical Center. The family will receive friends today, May 14, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Crossville Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 4 p.m. with Pastor Ralph Reagan officiating. Burial will be in Haley's Grove Cemetery.

Herschel “Andy” Anderson, 78, of Hixson, went home to be with the Lord May 10, 2013. Visitation was held May 13 from 4 to 5:30 p.m. at North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, with a memorial service at 6 p.m. The Rev. Bill Harvey and the Rev. James Arland Anderson officiated. Burial will be private.
