Carl L. Farmer, 81, passed away Nov. 9, 2012, at the Southwest General Residential Hospice Center in Strongsville, OH, after a long illness. Funeral services were held Nov. 13 at Bogner Family Funeral Home in North Ridgeville, OH, with Terry Sanders officiating. Interment was in Resthaven Memory Gardens in Avon, OH.
He was born Jan. 1, 1931, in Hebbertsburg, TN, and grew up in Crossville. Carl has lived in Strongsville, OH, for the past four years after moving from Elyria, OH, where he had lived most of his life.
Carl worked in the shipping and receiving department of the Ford Motor Company in Brook Park, OH, before retiring in 1992 after 35 years of service.
He was an avid traveler but, when at home, Carl enjoyed golf, bowling and working in his garden.
Mr. Farmer was a member of the North Ridgeville Church of Christ, and U.A.W. Local 1250.
He is survived by his son, Stan Farmer of Strongsville, OH; brothers, Edwin Farmer of Harriman, TN, and Orlando Farmer of Cleveland, OH; sister, Joyce Nealon of Crossville.

Charles Presley officiating. Interment was in Algood City Cemetery, with full military honors provided by Veteran's Honor Guard.

The family will receive friends today, May 14, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Crossville Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 4 p.m. with Pastor Ralph Reagan officiating. Burial will be in Haley's Grove Cemetery.

Herschel “Andy” Anderson, 78, of Hixson, went home to be with the Lord May 10, 2013. Visitation was held May 13 from 4 to 5:30 p.m. at North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, with a memorial service at 6 p.m. The Rev. Bill Harvey and the Rev. James Arland Anderson officiated. Burial will be private.
