CROSSVILLE — Feb. 12, 1943—Jan. 6, 2012

Jewelene (Turner) Smith, 69, of Crossville, passed away Jan. 6, 2013, at Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga, TN. Funeral services were held at Bilbrey Funeral Home Jan. 10, with Bro. Terry Swaw officiating. Interment was in Haley's Grove Cemetery.

She was born Feb. 12, 1943, in Crossville, the daughter of the late Charles William and Nora (Sherrill) Turner. Mrs. Smith worked in a furniture factory.

She is survived by her sons, Timothy Lee Qualls (Donna), Charles T. Qualls and Dana Paul Qualls, all of Crossville; brother, Roy Turner of Crab Orchard; sister, Opal Willene Stooksbury of Fort Worth, TX; and grandchildren, Kevin Thomas Qualls and Alicia Ann Bennett.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Fred Leon Qualls; brothers, Joe Turner and Lester Turner; and sister, Marie Goss Binnette.

Pallbearers were Jerry Tucker, Terry Turner, Wade Goss, Shane Goss, Tony Bledsoe, Bill Goss, Mike Yeary and Lonnie Goss.

Bilbrey Funeral Home, Inc. (www.bilbreyfh.com) was in charge of the arrangements.

Charles Presley officiating. Interment was in Algood City Cemetery, with full military honors provided by Veteran's Honor Guard.

Burial will be in Haley's Grove Cemetery.

Burial will be private.
