Kenneth Eugene Parsons, 77, of Crossville, passed away Feb. 6, 2013. Funeral services were held Feb. 7 at Bilbrey Funeral Home, with Bro. Joel Richards officiating. Interment was in Green Acres Memory Gardens.
He was born Sept. 1, 1935, in Crossville, the son of the late Gilbert and Lois Marie (Kindred) Parsons.
Mr. Parsons was a carpenter and a member of Fredonia Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Doris Marie Parsons of Crossville; daughter, Jinger Kaye Loggins of Crossville; son, Greg Parsons of Crossville; sisters, Kathern Cook of Birmingham, AL, and Josephine Bratten of Smyrna; and grandchildren, Will and Lacy Loggins of Crossville.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Johnny Parsons.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to the Kidney Foundation.
Bilbrey Funeral Home, Inc. (www.bilbreyfh.com) was in charge of the arrangements.

The graveside service will be today, May 24, at 3 p.m. EDT at Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Gardens. The Rev. Ronnie Capes will perform the service. There will be no prior visitation.
