Ruth Ann Hamilton, 92, of Crossville, passed away Dec. 24, 2012, at Cumberland Medical Center in Crossville. Funeral services were held at Bilbrey Funeral Home Dec. 29, with Bro. Vern Daugherty officiating.
She was born March 20, 1920, in Crossville, the daughter of the late Doss and Lula (Curtis) Suggs.
Mrs. Hamilton was a housekeeper and of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by grandchildren, Jason Hamilton of Kaysville, UT, Theresa Jones of Meridan, MS, and Chrystal Gail Shellhorn of Crossville; sisters, Ruby Kerley and Betty Wesley, both of Crossville; 11 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, James Thomas Hamilton Sr., and sons, James Thomas Hamilton Jr. and Jerry Len Hamilton.
Pallbearers were Jordan Jones, Cody Suggs, Thomas Jones and Eric Davis.
