CROSSVILLE — Nov. 6, 1928 — Jan. 18, 2013

Dolores Wanda Turner, 84, of Crossville, passed away Jan. 18, 2013. The family received friends Sunday at Bilbrey Funeral Home. A funeral service was conducted Jan. 21 in the chapel of Bilbrey Funeral Home, with Bro. Joey Smith officiating. Burial was in Green Acres Memory Gardens.

Mrs. Turner was born Nov. 6, 1928, in Greenbriar, WV, the daughter of the late John and Ida Rosalee (Reed) Holliday.

She was married to the late Eldred Walter Turner. Before retiring, she was employed by Flowers Bakery.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Harold and Teressa Turner; daughter and son-in-law, Lois Ann and Roy Smith, all of Crossville; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and father, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Edward Roy Lee Holliday; and sister, Forth Aliff.

Serving as pallbearers were Ben Turner, Corey Garrison, K.J. Smith, Frank Miller, Nick Varney and Gary Smith.

Bilbrey Funeral Home, Inc. (www.bilbreyfh.com) was in charge of the arrangements.

Charles Presley officiating. Interment was in Algood City Cemetery, with full military honors provided by Veteran's Honor Guard.

The family will receive friends today, May 14, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Crossville Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 4 p.m. with Pastor Ralph Reagan officiating. Burial will be in Haley's Grove Cemetery.

Burial will be private.
