Stanley Boyd Wattenbarger Sr., 59, of Crossville, passed away Jan. 18, 2013. Masonic Rites and funeral services were held Jan. 20 from the chapel of Hood Funeral Home, with Bro. Wayne Matthews officiating. Special music was by Kim Wattenbarger. Burial was in Cold Springs Cemetery.
Mr. Wattenbarger was born Aug. 28, 1953, in Crossville, the son of Horace and Stella Atkinson Wattenbarger.
He belonged to the Plumbers and Pipefitters Union Local 102, working many years with TVA and Y-12 in Oak Ridge. He was a member of Clarkrange Masonic Lodge #605 and was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his son, Stanley Wattenbarger Jr. and wife, Missy, of Crossville; daughter, Memrie Jones and husband, Gary, of Crossville; brother, Sam Wattenbarger and wife, Winnie, of Crossville; sisters, Betty Hedgecoth and Lois Vanemburgh, both of Crossville, Delphia Perry and husband, John, of Red Bank, Wanda McIntosh of Dalton, GA, and Geneda Ashburn and husband, Herbert, of Clarkrange; and grandchildren, Christopher Jones, Acacia Jones and Catalina Wattenbarger.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, James, Buck and Bob Wattenbarger; and sisters, Thelma Wattenbarger, Joan Wattenbarger and Billie Henderson.
Pallbearers were Gary Jones, Stanley Wattenbarger Jr., Christopher Jones, James Leslie Wattenbarger, Shane Wattenbarger, Robbie Wattenbarger and Fred Wilson.
Hood Funeral Home and Crematory, LLC (www.hoodfuneralhome.com) was in charge of the arrangements.

The graveside service will be today, May 24, at 3 p.m. EDT at Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Gardens. The Rev. Ronnie Capes will perform the service. There will be no prior visitation.
