Glenn Edwin Hatfield, 87, of Crossville, passed away Feb. 5, 2013, at Cumberland Medical Center in Crossville. Funeral services were held Feb. 8 at Bilbrey Funeral Home, with Bro. Harold Qualls and Bro. Brian Smith officiating. Interment was in Green Acres Memory Gardens.

He was born Oct. 8, 1925, in Morgan County, the son of the late Mason Edwin and Adra Elizabeth (Wright) Hatfield.

Mr. Hatfield was a small engine mechanic and of the Baptist faith. He served in the United States Navy during World War II.

He is survived by his daughter, Peggy Ann Miller (Wilburn) of Crossville; stepdaughters, Brenda McCurdy (Dale) of Taylorsville, NC, and Cindy Cole (Keith) of Crossville; brother, Walter K. Hatfield of Nashville; and sister, Eula Spurling of Rockwood.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his first wife, Helen (Tabor) Hatfield; second wife, Helen Isabell Hatfield; son, Daniel Hatfield Sr.; brother, Lewis M. Hatfield; and sisters, Helen Arnold, Ruth Ruppe and Lucy Page.

Pallbearers were Justin Wyatt, Danny Hatfield, Kevin Hatfield, Bradley Miller, Mark Miller and Keith Miller.

Bilbrey Funeral Home, Inc. (www.bilbreyfh.com) was in charge of the arrangements.
