Nancy Gluff, 90, of Elwood, IN, (formerly of Fairmount) passed away Feb. 27, 2013, at Parkview Care Center in Elwood, IN. Funeral services were held March 2 at Armes-Hunt Funeral Home in Fairmount, IN, with Pastor Leo Moore officiating. Interment was in Park Cemetery in Fairmount, IN.
She was the daughter of the late Bill Miller and the late Nancy (Voiles) Miller. She was born July 15, 1922, in Jamestown, TN. She married Herman Gluff. He preceded her in death March 28, 1978. Nancy owned her own cleaning service where she cleaned for several businesses, churches and homes around Fairmount including Hunt's Funeral Home, Separate Baptist Church, Citizen Telephone Office and the Town of Fairmount Office for 12 years before retiring in 1984. She was a member of Howard Chapel Church.
She is survived by her sons, Homer (Christine) Gluff of Summitville, IN, and John “Mark” (Cheri) Gluff of Safety Harbor, FL; son-in-law, Ralph Fields of Elwood, IN; grandchildren, Tammy (Steve) Garrett and Billy (Brenda) Gluff, both of Crossville; William Bordelon of Cocoa Beach, FL, Lacey Gluff and Haley Gluff, both of Sorrento, FL, James “Jim” Gluff of Fairmount, IN, Kenneth “Kenny” Gluff of Summitville, IN, Eric (Kelli) Fields of Jonesboro, IN, Michelle (Mel) Cook of Elwood, IN, Jonathan Gluff of Evansville, IN, and Jared Gluff of Lakeland, FL; and many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by daughters, Wanda and Nadine Gluff and Linda Fields; and sons, Tony and Billy Gluff.
Memorial contributions may be made to Community Home Health and Hospice in care of the funeral home.
