Rina Regina O'Hara

CROSSVILLE — May 30, 1921—Oct. 7, 2012

Mrs. Rina Regina O'Hara, 91, of Cookeville, passed away Oct. 7, 2012, at Bethesda Health Care Center of Cookeville. Burial was Oct. 8 in the Cookeville City Cemetery. A memorial service will be held Sunday, Oct. 14, at 3 p.m. at Cornerstone Baptist Church in Crossville.

Mrs. O'Hara was born May 30, 1921, in Kittery, ME, to the late Louis A. Rioux and Rina Blanche Froment Rioux. Rina loved her family, singing and dancing and was retired from Westminster Publications. She was a member of the Cornerstone Baptist Church in Crossville.

She is survived by her daughter, Jeannine Brey, of Cookeville; sister-in-law, Bertha Cook, of Englewood, FL; grandchildren, Michael Brey and wife, Shannon, of Blairsville, GA, and Lisa Norsworthy and husband, Joey, of Cookeville; and four great-grandchildren, Abby and Paul Norsworthy and Allie Grace and Sawyer Brey. Rina is also survived by a dear friend, Nancy Brown of Crossville.

Mrs. O'Hara was preceded in death by her son, Dennis Redifer; sister, Florence Rioux; brothers, Louis Rioux, Raymond Cook, Maurice Cook and Ernest Cook; and her children's father, Austin O'Malley.

The family received friends Tuesday, June 18, from 4 to 7 p.m. EDT at Evans Mortuary, with funeral service following at 7 p.m. President Charles Watkins officiated. Concluding and interment services will be today, June 18, at Roane Memorial Gardens at 10 a.m.

    Mrs. Wanda Hicks, 61, of Crossville, passed away June 13, 2013, at Jamestown Regional Medical Center. Funeral services were held June 17 at Jennings Funeral Home-Clarkrange Chapel. A private burial will follow at a later time in the Springs Chapel Cemetery.
