Scott Simpson, 47, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, Nov. 24, 2012 at Indian Path Medical Center. He was a graduate of Cumberland High School, Crossville, and Tennessee Tech University. Scott was a member of Gray United Methodist Church and was an avid sports enthusiast.
He was preceded in death by his father, Leo Simpson.
Scott is survived by his wife, Wendy Simpson; three daughters, Lexi Simpson, Mackenzie Simpson and Sidney Simpson; stepdaughter, Kelsey Parshall; mother, Carol Thompson; sister, Dr. Leslie Kidd and husband, Robert; brother, Chip Simpson; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, Nov. 27, from 5-7 p.m. at Gray United Methodist Church. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. with the Rev. Lloyd J. Jones and the Rev. Jodie Ihfe officiating.
Graveside services will be conducted on Wednesday, Nov. 28, at 11 a.m. at Tri-Cities Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
