Marvin A. Bullock

Marvin Arnold Bullock, 63, of Crossville, passed away May 12, 2007. Funeral services were conducted May 15 from the chapel of Bilbrey Funeral Home, with Bill Sharp officiating. Interment was in Green Acres Memory Gardens.
Mr. Bullock was the son of Alonzo and Ollie (Cooper) Bullock.
He was employed by Crossville Rubber.
Survivors include his daughters, Penny (Bullock) Deck and Wendy Pryor of Crossville; son, Alonzo Bullock of Crossville; sisters, Lou (Bullock) Rosenbaum, Marie (Bullock) Brock, Jean (Bullock) Sharp and Faye (Bullock) Parks, all of Clinton; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Bilbrey Funeral Home, Inc. was in charge of the arrangements.
Vera Button

Vera (Rose) Button, 94, of Crossville, passed away May 9, 2007. Funeral services were conducted May 12 from the chapel of Bilbrey Funeral Home, with Bro. Gary Robbins officiating. Burial was in Woody Cemetery in Crossville.
Mrs. Button was born June 25, 1912, in Wilder, TN, the daughter of Alvin Hawkins Rose and Mae (Woody) Rose.
She was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church.
Survivors include her sons, Ray Button Jr. of Crossville, Tommy Button of Crossville and Charles Button of Huntsville, AL; daughters-in-law, Sue Button of Crossville and Dianne Button of Huntsville, AL; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Charles Rose.
Bilbrey Funeral Home, Inc. was in charge of the arrangements.

Funeral services for Velma Short Phillips, 89, of Crossville, will be conducted Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Cumberland Fellowship Church in Crossville. Pastor Hank Jones will officiate with interment to follow in the Welch Memorial Cemetery in Monterey. The family will receive friends at the church, at 1640 West Ave., Saturday from 11 a.m. until time of services at 1 p.m.
