Lillie C. Anderson

May 20, 2007

Lillie Clarice (Boles) Anderson of Crossville passed away May 20, 2007. Funeral services were conducted May 22 from the chapel of Bilbrey Funeral Home, with Bro. Scott White officiating. Interment was in Green Acres Cemetery.

Mrs. Anderson was born in Livingston, the daughter of Jerry Adams and Dora Ethel (Crouch) Boles.

She was retired as a salesperson and of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include her daughters and son-in-law, Carol Sue and Bill Cole of Franklin and Hilda Cox Worsham of Chattanooga; sister, Lois Cox of Illinois; and five grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Lester Cox; second husband, Ernest F. Anderson; sisters, Delsie Boles and Chloe Newberry; and brothers, Jessie Boles and Claude Boles.

Pallbearers were Stephanie Cole, Amy Ivy, Steve Anderson, Matt Anderson, Phillip Anderson and Mike Anderson.

Bilbrey Funeral Home, Inc. was in charge of the arrangements.



Audrey I. Bilbrey

Dec. 29, 1919 — May 21, 2007

Audrey Irene Bilbrey, 87, of Crossville, passed away May 21, 2007. Funeral services were conducted May 22 from the chapel of Crossville Memorial Funeral Home, with Randy Bilbrey and Dewayne Whittaker officiating. Music was by Danny and Darlene Norris. Burial was in Campground Cemetery in Fentress County.

Mrs. Bilbrey was born Dec. 29, 1919, in Overton County, the daughter of John Calvin and Mary Ellen (Wilson) Neely.

She was a homemaker.

Survivors include her sons, Harlon, Terry and Jerry Bilbrey; daughters, Adean Vaughn, Gwen Pryor, Jeanette King and Brenda Swallows; 16 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and sisters, Laura Miller and Ola Hargis.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, J.V. Bilbrey; daughters, Mayzell, Margie Louise, Grace Edith, Ernestine and Willine Bilbrey; brother, R.B. Neely; and sisters, Nola Hargis, Ruby Vaughn and Carlis England.

Pallbearers were Rodney Swallows, Ron Vaughn, Doug Strock, Brandon Strock, Trent Abston and Anthony Bowman.

Honorary pallbearer was Brady Gilley.

Crossville Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. was in charge of the arrangements.



Lois Parsons

Jan. 17, 1934 — May 19, 2007

Lois (Russell) Parsons, 73, of Crossville, passed away May 19, 2007. A graveside service was held May 22 at Creston Cemetery, with Bro. Malcolm Strong officiating.

Mrs. Parsons was born Jan. 17, 1934, in Crossville, the daughter of William F. and Mary C. (Ward) Russell.

She was a homemaker and a member of Creston Baptist Church.

Survivors include her daughters, Vera Smith, Teresa Derossett and Stella James, all of Crossville; sons, Roger Parsons, Doug Parson and Keith Parsons, all of Crossville; sisters, Pauline Adams, Betty Brown, Rilda Wyatt and Roberta Hall, all of Crossville; brother, Clyde Russell of Crossville; 15 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Garland Parsons; and daughter, Sharon Parsons.

Pallbearers were Wesley Sherrill, Roger Sherrill, Marvin Parsons, Dale Parsons, Warren Wyatt and Willie Hale.

Bilbrey Funeral Home, Inc. was in charge of the arrangements.

Robert Lawrence will officiate and interment will follow in the Welch Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Goff Funeral Home May 25 from 9 a.m. until the time of service.

    Our beautiful angel, Lou Ella (Turner) Kemmer, 70, went home to be with the Lord May 18, 2012, after an incredible and courageously fought battle over the past several months. The family celebrated her life May 21 in her home church, the Church of God on Sparta Hwy., where she raised her family. Bro. Gene Burgess officiated the service. She was laid to rest at Grassy Cove United Methodist Cemetery.

    Otto Wheeley, 90, of Johnson City and formerly of Lafayette, passed away May 21, 2012. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. from the chapel of Alexander Funeral Home in Lafayette. Interment will be in Macon County Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends tonight, Wednesday, from 4 to 8 p.m., and tomorrow from 9 a.m. until the service.
