Hunter R. Sherrill

Graveside services were held June 19 at Crossville City Cemetery for Hunter Ray Sherrill, the infant son of Steven and Elizabeth Sherrill of Crossville. Pastor Mike Kerley officiated.

He is also survived by his brother, Dillon Sherrill; grandparents, Suzanne and John Paterson and Estel and Sandra Sherrill; great-grandmother, Bonnie Whitehall; many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Crossville Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. was in charge of the arrangements.

Andrea Michelle Hassler, 32, of Crossville, passed away May 20, 2012, at Cumberland Medical Center in Crossville. Funeral services were held at Bilbrey Funeral Home May 22 with Bro. Gary Howard officiating. Interment was in Big Lick Cemetery.

Funeral services for Mabel Koleda Roberson Harper, 88, of Crossville, will be today, May 25, at 11 a.m. from the chapel of Goff Funeral Home in Monterey. Bro. Robert Lawrence will officiate and interment will follow in the Welch Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Goff Funeral Home May 25 from 9 a.m. until the time of service.

Terry Lee Boots, 51, of Crossville, passed away May 19, 2012. A memorial service was held at Bilbrey Funeral Home May 22 with Gordon Manning officiating.

Lou Ella Kemmer
Our beautiful angel, Lou Ella (Turner) Kemmer, 70, went home to be with the Lord May 18, 2012, after an incredible and courageously fought battle over the past several months. The family celebrated her life May 21 in her home church, the Church of God on Sparta Hwy., where she raised her family. Bro. Gene Burgess officiated the service. She was laid to rest at Grassy Cove United Methodist Cemetery.

George Chester Mills II, 85, of Crossville, passed away May 20, 2012, at Life Care Center. Funeral service will be held today, May 23, at 2 p.m. at Crossville Memorial Funeral Home with Pastor Ron Mills officiating. Family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. He will be laid to rest in Pomona Cemetery.

Otto Wheeley, 90, of Johnson City and formerly of Lafayette, passed away May 21, 2012. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. from the chapel of Alexander Funeral Home in Lafayette. Interment will be in Macon County Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends tonight, Wednesday, from 4 to 8 p.m., and tomorrow from 9 a.m. until the service.

Bonnie Sue Gibson, 78, of Crossville, passed away May 16, 2012. Funeral services were held May 20 from the chapel of Hood Funeral Home. Burial was in Whittaker Cemetery in Monterey, with Bro. Larry Robbins officiating.

Hattie Kathryn Davis, 76, passed away May 19, 2012, at her home in Sparta, surrounded by her loving family. Memorial service will be held Saturday, May 26, at Thurman Funeral Home Chapel at 4:30 p.m. with visitation from 4 p.m. until time of service.

Milford Cannon, 85, of Crossville, passed away May 18, 2012. Funeral services were held May 21 from the chapel of Hood Funeral Home. Burial was in Green Acres Memory Gardens with military honors given at the graveside. Bro. Jack Lawson and Bro. Phillip Lawson officiated with special music by Judy Waldo, Paul and Helen Lawson.
