Wiley L. Cunningham
Nov. 4, 1945 — June 15, 2007
The Rev. Wiley Leonard Cunningham, 61, of Crossville, passed away June 15, 2007. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, June 20, from the chapel of Hood Funeral Home, with Bro. Bobby Clark officiating. Burial will be in Crossville City Cemetery.
The Rev. Cunningham was born Nov. 4, 1945, in Sequatchie County, the son of Robert Lee and Nancy Jane Brown Cunningham.
He was a truck driver and a member of Faith Baptist Church. He also had pastored Cumberland Freewill Baptist Church along with the Rev. Warren Green and held services on local radio. His favorite hobby was model trains and he also enjoyed collecting knives, guns and swords. He loved his family and spending time with his grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife, Angel Cunningham of Crossville; sons and daughter-in-law, Eric and Barbara Cunningham of Crossville, James Cunningham of Crossville, Ricky Cunningham of Macon, GA, Jeremy Cunningham, Cameron Cunningham, Ashton Cunningham, Zackary Cunningham and Jordan Cunningham, all of Crossville; daughters and sons-in-law, Teresa and Jimmy Stone of Spring City, and Dorothy and Don Jacobs of Knoxville; brothers, Manuel Cunningham of Crossville and Venus Cunningham of Manchester; sisters, Faye Baker of Crossville and Eula Brock of Pikeville; and 13 grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Foster, Billy Joe, Baxter and Lawrence Cunningham; and sisters, Lula Mae Floyd and Gracie Sherrill.
Pallbearers will be Eric Cunningham, Jeremy Cunningham, Cameron Cunningham, Ashton Cunningham, Glenn Brock, Jordan Cunningham, Zackary Cunningham and Aaron Cunningham.

Geraldine Dormagen
March 4, 1922 — June 17, 2007
Geraldine Dormagen of Crossville passed away June 17, 2007, at her home after a brief illness. Memorial services will be held at 7 p.m. from the chapel of Hood Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6-7 p.m. prior to the service.
Mrs. Dormagen was born March 4, 1922, in Highland Falls, NY, the daughter of the late Gerald and Mary Glover. She was the oldest of 15 children.
She graduated from Highland Falls (NY) High School in 1940, attending post graduate school in New York City, where she worked until volunteering for the Women's Army Corps (WACS) during WWII. She obtained the rank of T-5 during her service career. She is listed in the Women in Military Service Memorial at Arlington National Park in Washington, DC. She was a member of First United Methodist Church and the 127 South Senior Center.
She was a very loving mother and wife who supported her family with unconditional love.
Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Robert J. Dormagen of Crossville; sons, Bobby of Crossville, Joe of Gurnee, IL, and Andy of Huntsville, AL; grandchildren, Jenna, Drew, Ryan, Barry and Krissie; and siblings, Joe Glover, Paul Glover, Dorothy Glover and Mary Anne Smith of High Point, NC, Gerald Glover of Lexington, KY, Mike Glover of Norfolk, VA and Alice Younkers of York, PA.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandson, Josh Dormagen; and siblings, Johnny Glover, Bobby Glover, Herbert Glover, Billy Glover, Jimmy Glover, Miriam Shutter and Annetta Glover.

Ronny D. Stephens
June 29, 1950 — June 16, 2007
Ronny D. Stephens, 56, of Crossville, passed away June 16, 2007. Funeral services were conducted June 18 from the chapel of Bilbrey Funeral Home, with Bro. Mike McCoy officiating. Interment was in Crossville City Cemetery.
Mr. Stephens was born June 29, 1950, in Fentress County, the son of Lonzie and Maynie (Durham) Stephens.
Survivors include his sisters, Betty Myers, Jolene Garrison, Janet Houston and Judy Gibson, all of Crossville; and brothers, Roy Turner and Bill Stephens of Crossville.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Floyd Gene Stephens and Jimmy Stephens.
Pallbearers were Brance Myers III, Richard Stephens, Michael Stephens, James Stephens, Alfred Gibson, Clarence Houston Jr., Jacob Stephens and Jon Stammen.

Herman V. Tabor Sr.
Dec. 15, 1924 — June 14, 2007
Herman Vincent Tabor Sr., 82, of Crossville, passed away June 14, 2007. Funeral services were conducted June 17 from the chapel of Hood Funeral Home, with Bro. Tim Blaylock, Bro. Ray Dupree and Bro. Otis Daniel officiating. Special music was by Linda Tabor and Anna Blaylock. Burial was in Green Acres Memory Gardens.
Mr. Tabor was born Dec. 15, 1924, in Cumberland County, the son of Wallace Logan and Mildred Pearl Svoboda Tabor.
He was retired as a supervisor with Hickory Specialties and was a member of the Church of God of Crossville. He loved riding motorcycles, taking trips out west and to Mexico. He also enjoyed gardening and working with horses and mules. He was a great fan of the Lady Vols and looked forward to watching them play. He was a man who dearly loved life and especially his wife and family.
Survivors include his loving wife of 60 years, Virginia Tabor; sons and daughters-in-law, Vince and Minda Tabor, Donnie and Linda Tabor and Greg and Kim Tabor, all of Crossville; sisters, Libbie Kultau and Roselle Wood of Crossville and Maxine Baisley of Dayton; grandchildren, Tiffany Tabor, Steve Tabor, Doug Tabor and Virginia Tabor; and great-grandchildren, Steven Andrew Tabor and Roxana Michelle Tabor.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Wallace Tabor; and sisters, Gladys Hixon, Lillie Burgess and Lavena Jackson.
Pallbearers were Eddie Cox, Edgar Cox, Jackie Cox, Jimmy McDonald, Bruce Wyatt and Fred Stout.
Honorary pallbearers were Ray Jackson and Jerry Copeland.

Our beautiful angel, Lou Ella (Turner) Kemmer, 70, went home to be with the Lord May 18, 2012, after an incredible and courageously fought battle over the past several months. The family celebrated her life May 21 in her home church, the Church of God on Sparta Hwy., where she raised her family. Bro. Gene Burgess officiated the service. She was laid to rest at Grassy Cove United Methodist Cemetery.
