Frances R. Dixon
May 19, 1941 — June 30, 2007
Frances Ruth Dixon, 66, of Crossville, passed away June 30, 2007. Funeral services were conducted July 3 from the chapel of Crossville Memorial Funeral Home, with Tony Wilson officiating. Burial was in Big Lick Cemetery.
Mrs. Dixon was born May 19, 1941, in Overton County, the daughter of Porter and Alice England Bilbrey.
She was retired from Avery Denison.
Survivors include her husband, Roy E. Dixon; sons and daughters-in-law, Bobby E. and Viola Dixon and Rod and Jan Dixon; sister and brother-in-law, Phyliss and Jack Jenkins; brothers, Estel and Holand Bilbrey; granddaughters, Amber Dixon, Katherine Dixon, Katosha Bennett, Elisha Dixon Whittaker and husband Jimmie; great-granddaughter, Braelynn Whittaker; special nephew, Aaron Cox; special friend, Dollie Farmer; two aunts; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Pallbearers were Aaron Cox, Tony Bilbrey, Troy Bilbrey, Martin Jenkins, Jimmy Whittaker and Jerry Stowers.
Crossville Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. was in charge of the arrangements.
William J. Randolph
May 22, 1949 — June 26, 2007
William Jerry Randolph, 58, of Crossville, passed away June 26, 2007. Funeral services were conducted June 28, from the chapel of Hood Funeral Home, with Bro. Vern Daugherty and Bro. Gary Howard officiating. Burial was in Pomona Cemetery with full military honors given.
Mr. Randolph was born May 22, 1949, in Cumberland County, the son of William Cecil and Ann Payne Randolph.
He was employed at the Y-12 Plant in Oak Ridge and attended New Hope Baptist Church. He had also served on the Crossville City Police Department and was a U.S. Navy veteran, having served during Vietnam. He was a man who loved God and his country. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and deer hunting. He was an avid gun collector and a member of the NRA. Spending time with the family he loved so very much was the most important part of his life.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Randolph of Crossville; sons and daughters-in-law, William Earl Randolph of Crossville, Jimmy Ray and Nikki Randolph of Crossville, and Jason and Jodi Watts of Hilton Head, SC; daughters and son-in-law, Amy and Harold Allen and Ashlee Ritzko, all of Crossville; sister and brother-in-law, Judy Randolph and Lynn Vitatoe of Crossville; stepbrothers, Michael Dayton of Knoxville and E.W. Dayton III of Dayton, OH; niece, Cassie Vitatoe of Crossville; 14 grandchildren; and a host of friends who loved him very much.
He was preceded in death by his father, William Randolph; and stepfather, E.R. Dayton.
Pallbearers were Glenn Pesnell, J.R. Robbins, Harrison Pryor, Chuck Rector, Larry O'Toole, Lynn Vitatoe and Harold Allen.

Grace V. D. Wilt
Dec. 21, 1913 — July 1, 2007
Grace Virginia Darlington Wilt, 93, resident of Crossville, formerly of Charles Town, WV, passed away July 1, 2007. Funeral services were conducted July 5 at Tri-State Baptist Church in Charles Town, WV, with Dr. Ray Love officiating. Burial was in Edgehill Cemetery in Charles Town.
Mrs. Wilt was born Dec. 21, 1913, in Charles Town, WV, the daughter of Oscar Gardner Darlington and Grace May Painter Darlington.
She resided with her daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn L. and Donald G. Young of Crossville. She was a member of Tri-State Baptist Church and also attended Fairfield Glade United Methodist Church. Before retiring, she had been employed by Perfection Manufacturing and Lore'Lyn Manufacturing in Ranson, WV, as a garment factory worker. She enjoyed reading, crocheting, working crossword puzzles and flowers.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn and Donald Young of Crossville; grandchildren, Dean K. Young (Shirlene) of Romney, WV and Eric A. Young of McDonough, GA; great-grandchildren, Mason Young and Brenna Young; brother, James M. Darlington of Charles Town, WV; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Wilt; brothers, Gardner Allen Darlington and Oscar G. Darlington Jr.; and sister, Rose Franck.
Pallbearers were Dean K. Young, Eric A. Young, Mason Young, Kevin Crowe, Lewis Shull and Lowell Barnard.
Honorary pallbearer was Donald Berkley.

Our beautiful angel, Lou Ella (Turner) Kemmer, 70, went home to be with the Lord May 18, 2012, after an incredible and courageously fought battle over the past several months. The family celebrated her life May 21 in her home church, the Church of God on Sparta Hwy., where she raised her family. Bro. Gene Burgess officiated the service. She was laid to rest at Grassy Cove United Methodist Cemetery.
