Ola Dell (Scarbrough) Thompson, 100, of Pleasant Hill, passed away Dec. 31, 2012, at Wharton Nursing Home in Pleasant Hill. Funeral services were held at Pleasant Hill Community Church Jan. 5, with the Rev. Tom Warren officiating. Interment was in Green Acres Memory Gardens.
She was born June 25, 1912, in Cumberland County, the daughter of the late James Blaine and Mahala Emmaline (Wyatt) Scarbrough.
Mrs. Thompson was a homemaker and a member of Pleasant Hill Congregational Church.
She is survived by her sons, William E. Thompson (Pat) and James E. Thompson (Linda) of Crossville; daughters, Mary Whiting (Richard) of Orlando, FL, and Barbara O'Reilly (George) of Huntsville, AL; eight grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Carl Austin Thompson, and brother, Coy Scarbrough.
Pallbearers were Guy E. Thompson, Craig A. Thompson, Jerome Mioduski, Virgil Wheeler Thompson, Blaine T. O'Reilly and Lon E. Brolliar.
