Ms. Emma Alice Hinshaw, 91, of Sunshine Hill Apartments, passed away Nov. 28, 2012, at Brian Center Health and Rehab in Spruce Pine, NC. She was interred at Summit Lawn Memorial Gardens in Westfield, IN, Dec. 1.
Born Nov. 22, 1921, in Sheridan, IN, she was the daughter of the late Rev. Grant Hinshaw and the late Ione Kendall Hinshaw. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Herbert, Alfred, Herman and Grant Hinshaw, and her sister, Edna Hinshaw.
Ms. Hinshaw retired from Community Hospital in Indianapolis, IN, and Riverview Hospital in Noblesville, IN. Upon retirement, she resided in Crossville, TN, for several years and later moved to Spruce Pine, NC, eight years ago.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of Mitchell County or Gideon's International.

Concluding and interment services will be today, June 18, at Roane Memorial Gardens at 10 a.m.
