James A. Dye, beloved father, son, husband and friend, passed away June 27, 2009.

Mr. Dye was born Nov. 21, 1946, in Gary, IN.

He spent time in Japan for the U.S. Air Force and settled in Arizona to raise his family. He had a successful career owning and managing several auto dealerships in Mesa, AZ, Bullhead City, AZ and Cortez, CO.

He had a passion for waterskiing, boating, fishing and four-wheeling.

He will be missed by his loving family, including his mother, Dorothy Ludwig; son and daughter-in-law, Ron and Elizabeth; daughter and son-in-law, Dawn and Ken; and grandchildren, Kevin Harvey, Serenity Harvey, Cheyanne Harvey, Alexis Dye, Hunter Dye, Hayden Dye and Lincoln Dye.

He was preceded in death by his father, Howard; stepfather, Sam Ludwig; and brother, Donald.

May your journey be peaceful and your legacy live on.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.

Crossville Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. was in charge of the arrangements.

Aileen Pridgen Patience, 92, of Crossville, passed away April 29, 2010. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 15, at Central Baptist Church, with the Rev. Roland Smith officiating. Burial will be in Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, VA, at a later date.

This past Saturday, Cumberland County lost one of its most beloved figures when Mr. Claude Little passed away at Erlanger Hospital following a massive stroke incurred Wednesday, April 21. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 4, at Crossville First United Methodist Church at 1 p.m. Bilbrey Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
