I. E. (Edward)(Skinner) Lewis, 84, of Palmetto, FL, passed away June 29, 2009. A memorial service was held July 4 at his home in Palmetto, FL.
Mr. Lewis was born Nov. 1, 1924, in Crossville, the son of the late Charles Ervin and Bertha (Seals) Lewis.
He was an electrician at Inland Mfg. in Dayton, OH. He moved to Florida in 1966 and retired there.
Survivors include his wife, Ann; daughter, Cindy Ann (Bill) Carlbert of Palmetto, FL; sisters, Lola Norris of Crossville and Thelma L. Savage of Fairborn, OH; special sister-in-law, Helen (Page) Lewis of Pleasant Hill; grandchildren, Larry Edward Lewis Jr. of Pensacola, FL, Jason Lewis of Lake Wales, FL, Tammy English of Jacksonville, FL, Billy and Cody Carlbert of Zephyrhills, FL, David Carlbert of Palmetto, FL and Jamie Ann (Eric) Perkins of Palmetto, FL; 17 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Larry Edward Lewis Sr.; brothers, Herman, Ralph and Cordell Lewis; and sister, Christine Agee.
