Judy Kay (Singleton) Davis, 62, of Crossville, passed away Friday, Oct. 30, 2009, at Cumberland Medical Center. Funeral services were held Nov. 2 from the chapel of Bilbrey Funeral Home, with Bro. J.D. Carnes officiating. Interment was in Haley's Grove Cemetery.

She was born Dec. 18, 1946, in Cumberland County, the daughter of the late Woodrow Ernest and Mary Estelle (Green) Singleton.

She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by her husband, Steve Davis, of Crossville; sons, Wade and Heath Davis of Crossville; grandchildren, Jacob, Bailey, Aaron and Bella Davis; brother, Marvin Singleton of Daytona, FL; and sister, Linda Sanders of Newport, NC.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Davis was preceded in death by son, Steven Ernest Davis.

Pallbearers were Heath Davis, Rick Hayes, Chip Sanders, Jimmy Nelson, Josh Hyder, Chad Sanders, Dewayne Robinson, Bailey Davis and Jacob Davis.

Bilbrey Funeral Home, Inc. (www.bilbreyfh.com) was in charge of the arrangements.

Aileen Pridgen Patience, 92, of Crossville, passed away April 29, 2010. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 15, at Central Baptist Church, with the Rev. Roland Smith officiating. Burial will be in Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, VA, at a later date.

This past Saturday, Cumberland County lost one of its most beloved figures when Mr. Claude Little passed away at Erlanger Hospital following a massive stroke incurred Wednesday, April 21. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 4, at Crossville First United Methodist Church at 1 p.m. Bilbrey Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
