Madeline C. Brugh, 87, of Monterey, TN, passed away Nov. 2, 2009. Funeral services will be held Nov. 16 at 1 p.m. in the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL.
Mrs. Brugh was born Dec. 12, 1922, in Garrett, IN, the daughter of Walter and Edna Coffing. She was a homemaker and some of her favorite pastimes were crocheting, cribbage, bird watching, dancing and raising children.
Survivors include her sons, David Brugh and wife, Mary Ann, of Kalamazoo, MI, and Daniel Brugh of Shelby, MI; daughters, Carolyn Padgett and husband, Bill, of Monterey, Edna Horony and husband, Alexander, of Crossville, Dawn Davidson and husband Jack of Iverness, FL, and Joann Campbell and husband William, of Kalamazoo, MI; 13 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; sisters, Arlene Monroe of Bristol, IN, and Geraldine Bernard of Maine; numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Brugh, and her parents.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the veterans organization or charity of your choice.
Crossville Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. was in charge of arrangements.
