Zenobia Helen (Perry) Martin, 93, of Crossville, passed away Jan. 26, 2008. A graveside service was held Jan. 27 at Pomona Cemetery.

Mrs. Martin was born May 16, 1914, in Bledsoe County, the daughter of Fred and Grace (Stone) Perry.

She was a school teacher and a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.

Survivors include her daughter, Linda Martin of Crossville; son, Avery Martin of Crossville; granddaughter, Carol Martin of Crossville; and sister, Zella Collier of Laurel, MD.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Rufus Martin.

Bilbrey Funeral Home, Inc. was in charge of the arrangements.

Aileen Pridgen Patience, 92, of Crossville, passed away April 29, 2010. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 15, at Central Baptist Church, with the Rev. Roland Smith officiating. Burial will be in Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, VA, at a later date.

Dorothy Lorene (Stephens) Cook, 82, of Crossville, went home to be with Jesus April 29, 2010. Funeral services were held May 2 from the chapel of Bilbrey Funeral Home, with Bro. H. C. Couch officiating. Interment was in Crossville City Cemetery.

Patricia Marie (Goss) White, 55, of Crossville, passed away April 27, 2010. A graveside service was held April 29 at Haley's Grove Cemetery in Crab Orchard, with Bro. Terry Swaw officiating.

Daisy Mae (Cody) Thompson, 96, of Crossville, passed away April 27, 2010. Funeral services were held April 30 from the chapel of Bilbrey Funeral Home, with Bro. Nathan Haynes officiating. Interment was in Smith's Chapel Cemetery.

Claude Little
This past Saturday, Cumberland County lost one of its most beloved figures when Mr. Claude Little passed away at Erlanger Hospital following a massive stroke incurred Wednesday, April 21. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 4, at Crossville First United Methodist Church at 1 p.m. Bilbrey Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.

Patricia Kester Filsinger passed away peacefully on April 29, 2010 after a major stroke on April 13. Funeral services will be on Saturday, May 8, at Fairfield Glade United Methodist Church at 2 p.m. with a brief reception following at the church.
