Jennie Clara Wilhite, 84, of Crossville, passed away March 15, 2008. Funeral services were conducted March 18 from the chapel of Crossville Memorial Funeral Home, with Garland Limburg officiating. Burial was at Green Acres Memory Gardens.
Mrs. Wilhite was born May 3, 1923, in Crossville, the daughter of Frank and Julia Savicki.
She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed crocheting and was an animal lover, especially cats.
Survivors include her husband, James E. Wilhite Sr. of Crossville; son and daughter-in-law, James E. and Dorinda Wilhite; daughters, Frances Craig of Crossville and Briar Rose of Michigan; grandchildren, Linda Troher, Alex Craig, Cindy McTaggart, Shawne Duperon, Trae Wilhite and Josh Wilhite; eight great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Frances Savicki.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Cumberland County, 30 E. Adams St., Crossville, TN 38555.
Crossville Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. was in charge of the arrangements.
