Harold R. Hageman

Harold Russell Hageman, 78, of Algood, passed away Sept. 13, 2008. Funeral services were conducted Sept. 16 from the Cookeville chapel of Hooper-Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home. Interment with military honors followed in Tollett's Chapel Cemetery in Crossville. Dr. C. Vance Johnson officiated.
Mr. Hageman was born Aug. 27, 1930, in Dayton, OH, the son of Cyrus Russell and Grace Lampke Hageman.
He was an associate with National Cash Register (NCR) for over 19 years and retired from General Motors with over 17 years of service. He was a U.S. Marine veteran of the Korean Conflict, attended Algood United Methodist Church and was a member of the Antique Tractor Club and the Algood Mini Mart Coffee Club.
Survivors include his wife, Brenda Rogers Hageman (whom he married July 31, 1999 in Algood); sons, Philip (Cindy) Hageman of Algood, Jeffrey (Jennifer) Hageman of Hartsville, Robert Mills of Little Rock, AR, Chris (Lisa) Mills of Monterey and Danny Mills of Cookeville; daughter, Nikki (Edward) Wilkey and Cissie (John) Whaley, all of Algood; grandchildren, Nikkie, Brittney and Benjamin Hageman, Jocelyn, Jaylin, Leighton, Morgan, Halee and Jazmyn Mills, Hayden, Renee, Dylan and John Jr. Whaley; and sisters, Irene (Chuck) LaMonte of Hubert Heights, OH, and Nancy Hoskett of Bellbrook, OH.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Naomi Fields Hageman; grandson, Anthony Mills; and daughter-in-law, Ashley Mills.
Family and friends served as pallbearers.
