Naomi Blankenship Hillis, 71, of Crossville, died June 23, 2009 at an area hospital. A celebration of her life will be held in the chapel of Pikeville Funeral Home at 10 a.m. Friday, June 26, with the Rev. Freddie Savage officiating. Burial will be in Blankenship Cemetery.
Naomi was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived and will be missed by her son, Bill France and wife, Connie; daughters, Paula Boring and husband, Gordon, and Pamela Hankins, all of Crossville; two sisters, Maxine Hickey and husband, Leslie, and Jean Johnson, of Pikeville; 13 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Hillis; parents, Charlie and Ruby Blankenship; and sister, Clara Jolly.
