Registration is under way for the spring 2013 semester at Roane State Community College.
Students need to be aware when they register that the college has a Jan. 7 fee deadline. Students who have registered must pay their fees by Jan. 7 at 4:30 p.m. Eastern to keep their class schedules.
Students can pay fees at www.roanestate.edu. Log in to RaiderNet and click “Your Account” to get started.
Payment is also accepted by personal check, money order, or by American Express, Discover, VISA or MasterCard credit or debit card at any Roane State campus. Cash will be accepted at the Roane County and Oak Ridge campuses only.
Payments also can be mailed to the Roane County campus, attention: Business Office, 276 Patton Lane, Harriman, TN 37748-5011. Telephone authorizations by American Express, Discover, VISA or MasterCard are accepted at the Roane County campus by calling (865) 882-4515.
Prospective students who have not applied for admission are encouraged to contact the Student Enrollment and Recruitment Office at (865) 882-4554 or toll free at 1-866-GO2-RSCC, ext. 4554.

Students honored by Kids on the Rise
Kids on the Rise (KOTR) held their first student recognition luncheon recently to honor all of the students in the KOTR program. In addition, two scholarship awards were passed out to students who have completed high school and been a part of the KOTR program for at least four years. The luncheon was held at the Art Circle Public Library through a grant from Volunteer Energy Cooperative’s VECustomers Share program. KOTR gratefully acknowledges VEC’s warm support.
