TTC at Crossville collects 124 units of blood

Tennessee Technology Center of Crossville went above and beyond the call of duty during the 2008-2009 school year by collecting 124 units of blood for the American Red Cross.

Since each blood donation has the potential to save up to three lives, TTC staff and students should feel good knowing they helped save the lives of up to 372 people.

In addition, their Sept. 18 blood drive resulted in the collection of 35 pints of blood, which equals 106 percent of the blood drive goal.

The blood drive was sponsored by the Student Government Association. The group received a certificate of appreciation from the Red Cross for their outstanding efforts.
