Rockwell wins PBS Reading Rainbow Illustrators and Writers contest

Second-grade student Brooke Rockwell, the daughter of Jason and Kari Rockwell of Crossville, won the PBS Reading Rainbow Illustrators and Writers first-place award at the regional viewing area level in Cookeville on May 19. Her book will also advance to the national contest. Brooke is pictured with her Frank P. Brown Elementary School teacher, Cristy Cotton.
