CROSSVILLE —
On Dec. 14, the Children of Crossville Chamber Orchestra (COCCO) will present their first concert of the 2012-’13 season at the Palace Theatre at 7 p.m. The program will commence with the “Brandenburg Concerto #3 in G major” by Johann Sebastian Bach, which will be assisted by professional auxiliary personnel playing the woodwind parts. Participating students include extremely talented musicians in grades six through 12.
The theme for the evening will be “COCCO Goes Wild” and will focus on songs about animals. Such songs include “The Waltzing Cat” by Leroy Anderson, “The Lion Sleeps Tonight,” “Crocodile Rock” and many others. As always, there will be some surprises to delight the audience.
COCCO is a 501 (c)(3) organization and all donations/sponsorships are tax deductible. COCCO’s current sponsors include Dr. Michael Ellis, Sunshine Cleaners, First National Bank, Middle Tennessee Natural Gas, Sara Flohr, J.H. Graham, Joe and Carolyn Karl, Highland Federal, The Plateau Group and Dr. Darryl Smith.

Ticket prices are $12 for adults and $5 for students. If you have any questions, contact the Palace Theatre at 484-6133 or COCCO’s director at 707-0656.
