Jeanne Turner to perform at Homestead's Apple Festival

Living on a farm in the small town of Crossville, leading the Praise and Worship Youth Team at her local church, and working at Stone Memorial High School, you will find native Jeanne Turner.

With a burning desire to sing bluegrass and gospel music since she was a young child, Turner has hit the ground running! Turner has sung for GodsChild Records in Nashville. Her first single, “Train To Gloryland," was released only a month before it hit the charts in March 2009, and it’s still hitting the Gospel Music charts today! Her biggest hit so far, titled “Last of Our Days,” landed her on the International Charts, bringing Turner the honor of an invitation to Europe; as well as being rated Artist #16 out of the top 200, while the song itself has continually charted in the top 40 songs.

Turner will play at the Homestead Apple Festival Saturday, Sept. 26, with her band, The Jubilees, beginning at 3 p.m. She’ll be kickin’ up the dust with her top four bluegrass hit singles. And stick around to find out how, after three heart attacks and an open heart surgery that never happened, Turner was catapulted into living her dream.

Turner will be selling her newest CDs and signing autographs after her performance, so don’t miss out on this Apple Festival, celebrating the 75th anniversary of the Homesteads.
