Jack Greene to perform at Palace Theatre


Crossville is becoming a well known center for cultural entertainment. Along with the Playhouse and a host of other popular sites, the Big South Fork Opry (BSFO) is being hailed for bringing affordable but quality entertainment to Cumberland County. By way of the Palace Theatre, in downtown Crossville, many stars and Nashville personalities have visited the BSFO stage. The legendary Grand Ole Opry Star and Nashville celebrity Jack Greene will be at the Palace on Oct. 10 from 7-9 p.m. Call 484-6133 for ticket reservations.

You’ll remember the sensational #1 hit songs that Jack Greene recorded with Decca and MCA Records. These include "There Goes My Everything," "Statue of a Fool," "All the Time,"  "What Locks The Door," "You Are My Treasure," "Until My Dreams Come True," "Back In The Arms Of Love," "Love Takes Care of Me," "Lord, Is That Me?" and a hit song duet with Jeannie Seely called “Wish I Didn’t Have to Miss You." He was well known as one of Earnest Tubb’s Texas Troubadours’ as the drummer and separately has accomplished two #1 albums; one stayed at the top of the charts for a year. Jack Greene was voted Top Male Vocalist in 1967 at the very first CMA Awards. In addition, his awards include “Best Album” and “Best Song” CMAs, during his sparkling career in the country music industry.
