ICM Week will be held Oct. 11-15, at Trinity Music City. There will be performances by Christian country's best, including Jeanne Turner of Crossville.

Jeanne Turner found herself having an exciting time at the Homestead Apple Festival Saturday, Sept. 26. Yes, it rained buckets, and the ground was muddy where she walked, but she still took the stage and her band, The Jubilees, followed with great joy. Those that chose to stand up against the nasty weather listened intently and got a show that most could not stop talking about.

"I was thrilled with the amount of hometown 'folks' that approached me and complimented me, making mention of how much they enjoyed the show," said Turner.

She stayed for a while after the show to talk to people and sign autographs. For Turner, this was a “highlight” event on her schedule. You can mark your calendars now, as Turner has already been invited back for next year’s Homestead Apple Festival.

From the Apple Festival to Trinity Music City

Turner will soon appear at the 15th annual Inspirational Country Music Awards Convention in Hendersonville, TN. Watch for her to take the stage on Sunday night, Oct. 11, at 6 p.m. She will be on the main stage of the TBN studios in Trinity Music City, known to several people as “Twitty City.”

Turner will be in the Sunday night show to kick off the Inspirational Country Music Awards week. All week during the convention, you can catch her at her booth from 3-6 p.m. in the exhibit hall (adjacent to the auditorium). She will also be singing in the Exhibit Hall on Tuesday afternoon at 4 p.m. The awards show boasts of performers such as Ricky Skaggs, Cherryholmes, Craig Morgan and other well-known names.

More news about Turner

Get ready for Turner's new single to be released in January 2010. She has snagged a song that was written by the award-winning song writer and Mr. Grand Ole Opry himself “Whisperin” Bill Anderson.

Turner is very excited about releasing an upbeat, fun, bluegrass single to start her new year off. She has been signed on to a talent agency out of Cincinnati, OH, called Shepherd Productions Agency. Their management staff believes that Turner will soon be a household name that spreads much farther than just her hometown of Crossville. Although they have also mentioned that Crossville will forever have “special mentions” because of this special artist.
